Manage Stress- How Sophrology helps

It is common for clients to think they can manage their stress just by coming to practice 1 hour of Sophrology per week with me. Yes, it’s a wonderful tool! On the other hand, it is important:

1. to identify where the stress comes from, the different sources.

2. to practice almost daily, even 10 minutes

3. to face reality

What I mean is that under no circumstances will Sophrology solve your money problems, or make your papers get in order on their own, or make your workload go down on its own, or even that your boss will change his behavior towards you!

Sophrology should not be taken as a refuge, an escape.

What is certain is that Sophrology is powerful in releasing physical and mental tensions, in stimulating the Positive in your brain and in also stimulating your 5 senses (and therefore all your capacities).

This is what will allow you, strep by step:

– to consider new solutions, to see reality from a new angle,

– to allow and authorize you to carry out steps or changes that previously seemed insurmountable.

– to sort out your mind to take things in the right direction and not have the impression that the mountain is too high

– to bring the stress level back to an acceptable level every day (it’s the accumulation that makes you “go crazy”!)

You must be aware that Sophrology does not act on factors outside your field of action.

This is why during our first session, we very clearly determine the stress factors to determine your possible scope of action.
