Your Health with Sophrology

Sophrology means “the science of consciousness in Harmony”,
it is a practical meditation therapy for everyone.

Created by a neuro-psychiatrist in 1960, this life-balancing technique is made with RELAXATION, BREATHING exercises and PRACTICAL exercises (smooth yoga) for your everyday life. Between western relaxation and eastern meditation, you will learn practical techniques and will be able to reuse them on your own. Sophrology sessions have an intention.

Sophrology is widely used by top athletes and musicians to prepare mentally ; also in hospitals to help patients ; in companies to help employees manage stress, balance private and professional life, be more efficient and calm and better communicate.

Step by step I will guide you in this practical consciousness technique to better know your limits (stress or fatigue), to consciously relax, to open for 5 senses, to have a more alert mind, to channel your emotions (fear, anger, sadness, frustration) and let JOY arise !

  • I propose individual sessions based on your request : Sleep desorder – Stress Management – Chronic Fatigue – Depression – Pain – Preparation for a exam – Preparation for Childbirth
  • I also propose group sessions in companies or for Preparation for childbirth (other on request).

For me, Sophrology is the 1st nice step towards Meditation, leading to more self-consciousness. Because it’s not so easy to start practicing meditation,

Course of a session:

  1. Exchanges on your present state and your request
  2. Guided sophrology exercises adapted to your request (sitting, lying or standing up)
  3. Exchange on your experience and feelings during the session
  4. Advice and recommendations for exercises to do independently to make them your own

Sophrology will in no way replace medical consultations.
